Supreme Court of Texas Emergency Order 40

This order permits the modification or suspension of court deadlines and procedures through October 1; allows justice and municipal courts to modify or suspend some deadlines and procedures until January 1; allows courts to continue to use reasonable efforts to hold proceedings remotely with certain actions required; and encourages presiding judges to adopt minimum standard health protocols for court and public participants.
